The Menlo sweater is a cropped, slightly fitted sweater featuring allover cables in a staggered diamond and rope cable motif. It is inspired by the ivy cascading down the walls of the Menlo Castle ruins in County Galway, Ireland.

Pattern Details

The body of the sweater is knit in the round from the bottom up and separated at the armholes for the front and the back. Sleeves are picked up from the sweater and knit in the round from the top down with German short-row shaping at the sleeve caps to provide a better fit.
